Guten tag,
I am writing this from my couch in Berlin, wile my wife and son are in France, on a computer that thinks it's getting internet from New York City, about my travels around Europe, that I took in my Swedish made car, that's programmed to report issues it has in Italian, with my Colorado drivers license. This is just one of the many examples of our globalized society that we all live in, it's just more apparent when you live in a country that is not your own. I sometimes feel like the international man of mystery, Austin Powers, except without the mystery and the hyperactive libido.

Owen is still not walking
Erin´s family came over for a visit over the Christmas holiday
I skied in the Alps and did not end up in the ICU.
We get to spend a TON of time together as a family
I am almost done the first class in my masters program, so far so good
I miss teaching , a lot more then I would have thought
I went on a back country skiing trip and did not end up in the ICU
We have some awesome travel plans coming up, Malta, Austria, Norway, Spain
Our friends the Alberts are coming over for a visit, and we can´t wait!
