Erin and I commented several times over the winter as we lived through what felt like 13 months of 33 degrees, drizzle, and grey, that we just did not know how or why people lived here year after year and decade after decade. Over the last couple of weekends we got our answer; its spring and summer. The sun is sunnier, the blue sky bluer, the water is warmer. Every time we have a free moment we are on the bikes with kids in tow heading to get ice cream, going for a picnic by a lake, or finding a new park.
Every once and a while over the last 15 years or so I would have the feeling that I am sure evolves deep in my sub conscious that "this is exactly what I am supposed to be doing". When I get those feelings it's less a thought and more a glimpse of a vision. I have had more then one of those feelings lately, and that makes me smile. Don't worry Colorado friends, we will still be back July 3rd, 2014.
