The Alps are like a good John Denver song, “going home to a
place I have never been before”. You
see, my last name comes from these mountains, I look at these hills and see the
same potential I see in the mountains around Colorado, they just make me, and
now my kids, smile.
This trip has been nothing short of awesome! It started off with a tour of a famous
castle, included a couple of trips up a via ferratas (think climbing next to a
600 foot waterfall surrounded by the high alpine, Alps)
or click here, canyoneering (think rappelling
down a water fall), kayaking down a swollen glacial feed river, several above tree line
hikes with the kids, and last but certainly not least,
nap times next to Addie and Owen.
