The Forsters go to the Alps

The Alps are like a good John Denver song, “going home to a place I have never been before”.   You see, my last name comes from these mountains, I look at these hills and see the same potential I see in the mountains around Colorado, they just make me, and now my kids, smile. 

This trip has been nothing short of awesome!  It started off with a tour of a famous castle, included a couple of trips up a via ferratas (think climbing next to a 600 foot waterfall surrounded by the high alpine, Alps) or click here, canyoneering  (think rappelling down a water fall), kayaking down a swollen glacial feed river, several above tree line hikes with the kids, and last but certainly not least, nap times next to Addie and Owen.
